Teaching School Alliance

Wickford Teaching School Alliance is an Alliance of schools in South Essex and King’s Lyn. Our Alliance includes Infant, Junior, Primary, Secondary and an all-through Special School. It also includes two Multi-Academy Trusts.

Wickford TSA provides School Direct Salaried & Tuition Fee places in collaboration with Essex & Thames SCITT; it offers school-to-school support in many areas from two NLEs & sixteen SLEs. We also provide CPD for teachers and leaders and are a Stonewall Train the Trainer institution. We have run a DfE funded Equality & Diversity project for LGBTQI+ leaders. Our Research & Development partners are Anglia Ruskin University & the Martix Maths Hub. Our international research work has been through Erasmus + funding and has taken us to Finland, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Poland & Denmark.
