Louise has worked at The Wickford CofE School since 2006, first as a teacher and then as the Head Teacher.
Louise's aim has been to create a respectful, caring and secure place to learn where everyone will work happily together. Wickford Church of England School's staff, along with supportive parents and LAB members, contribute to the success of the school.
"We work together as one community with a common purpose – to ensure that our children are happy and successful, developing a lifelong love of learning."
Emma first became a parent Governor for Wickford C of E 12 years ago and also started to volunteer for the school in the same year helping with the Library and Holy Space with members of the Clergy.
Emma is an active member of St Catherine’s Church and is training to be a licensed Lay Minister.
In 2011 she became a foundation Governor which means she was appointed to Governing body by the local Church. For the Last five years she has had the role of Chair of the Local Advisory Board.
Emma has many roles in the school from Mid-day assistance to Spiritual Advisor and is always happy to answer any question the children might have about God or religion.
Becky is the Early Years Director of learning/ Lead Practitioner for the Trust. She has worked here for six years and during this time has completed the NPQSL and SLE training, using this knowledge to support others across the Trust and wider school network. On a day to day basis, she oversees Early Years at The Wickford Church of England School and has seen the growth of Little Teds Pre-School. Becky works closely with other staff in her role as a DSL and as the schools Early Years DSL, ensuring that children are at the heart of all that they do.
Becky is focussed on the succession of staff and most recently this included working alongside a London hub developing maths mastery in EYFS. She leads training and CPD for all EYFS Trust staff.
Becky recognises Early Years as the pinnacle of fostering a love of life long learning.
Emma became a Parent Governor at the Wickford Church of England school in late 2017. Her daughter previously attended the school and her son is in his final year. For four years she has been actively involved in the PTA – taking on the role of Chairperson in May 2017.
Emma spent a number of years working as a Business Analyst for a large global automotive company, within their Finance and Banking division. She chose to take a career break to concentrate on raising her children and to pursue other interests.
Marion has been part of school life at Wickford CofE for 24 years, first as a parent and then as a HLTA and member of the Local Advisory Board.
Marion is one of the current CEOP ambassadors for esafety and has overseen the school website for many years.
She was part of a team that introduced Spanish to the school over 12 years ago and prides herself in giving children a sample of learning a new language.
Doodle and stitching clubs are part of Marion's wider contributions to school life, along with owning Casper the school dog! He is a much loved addition to the school community and enjoys being part of classroom life and playground walks and fuss.
Marion has a focus on the community and work with the school to promote creativity and a wider perspective.
Jordine has had links to Wickford CofE since 2015. Her son left last year to begin Junior school after enjoying an amazing 3 years at the school and her youngest daughter currently attends Little Teds.
After working for the Metropolitan Police for 11 years Jordine resigned last summer to begin the role of Children's and Youth Leader at New Life Church Crouch Valley. Her new role involves running a weekly toddler group and a youth club as well as well as other fun events for the young people of Wickford and surrounding areas.
She is passionate about her love for Jesus and passionate about cheering on young people to reach their full potential! She believes that every child has the potential to be a World Changer!
Jordine is also the coordinator for the South Woodham Ferrers School Pastors team. School Pastors is an initiative of the Ascension Trust that operates all over the UK. Jordine coordinates a team of volunteers that work within a Senior school setting to be there to support young people by listening, caring and helping. Her team was the first one of its kind in Essex.
